What is LAHOCO HOME ?
LAHOCO HOME is a home automation application that allows you to control your connected devices from your smartphon, tablet or web browser.
On which platforms can I use it ?
The app is available on iOS and Android, as well as on all web browsers.
Do I need an account to use LAHOCO HOME ?
Yes, a myLAHOCO account is required to secure access to your installation and access it remotely. See Create a myLAHOCO account to create an account.
Where is the serial number located ?
The 8-character serial number of your LAHOCO can be found :

Directly on your LCD or LCP device, on the S/N label

On the About page of the Settings tab on LAHOCO HOME

On myLAHOCO from your LAHOCO Cores page
If you cannot find it, contact LAHOCO support via the service desk.
Installation and configuration
How do I install the application ?
The application can be installed from the App Store or Google Play (see Application Mobile).
How do I connect my LAHOCO to the app?
Follow the procedure from the page Startup.
What should I do if my LAHOCO is not detected ?
Check that your smartphone and LAHOCO CORE are on the same network.
Le Wi-Fi must be enabled on your smartphone.
It may take more than 5 minutes after the first start-up before LAHOCO is ready and accessible. This may depend on the available internet connection.
What are the network requirements for remote access ?
For remote access with LAHOCO SMART CONNECT to work properly, certain conditions must be met :

Ethernet network connection required

Minimum required speed : 10 Mbit/s symmetrical for access to the HOME service

If a network firewall is present

Authorization of the WireGuard application at the application firewall level

Authorization of UDP port 51820 for outgoing traffic

Without these elements, the remote connection cannot be etablished.
In principle, no special configuration is necessary for private users. Thes checks and adjustements mainly concern corporate networks or environmens with specific security rules.
I am selling my home to a third party. how do I transfer ownership of my LAHOCO to them ?
Simply add a manager relationship on your site for the new owner via myLAHOCO. They will then receive instructions on how to create their account and accept the invitation. Once this is done, the new owner will be able to delete your relationships and remove your rights.

How can I control my LAHOCO CORE remotely ?
There are two ways to access the system remotely :

Can I create routines and triggers ?
Yes, the app allows you to create routines and triggers.
Can I share access with other users ?
Yes, it is possible to invite users from the mobile app.
What are notifications and how do I manage them ?
The app can send alerts and informations about your installation. These can be enabled or disabled in the notification settings.
Security and privacy
Is my data secure ?
All communications are encrypted and data is stored securely, either locally on the LAHOCO CORE or in a cloud located in Switzerland, ensuring confidentiality and protection of information.
Who can access my account ?
Only invited individuals can access the facilities linked to your account.
Common problems
My LAHOCO CORE is not responding. What should I do ?
Check the power supply and network connection. Restart the device and the application.
If the problem persists, contact technical support.
How do I update the mobile app ?
Updates appear automatically in the App Store or Google Play.
How do I update the LAHOCO app ?
LAHOCO can be updated from the Settings page. A yellow notification appears as soon as an update is available
